China Archaeology and Art Digest

China Archaeology and Art Digest was established in 1996 to meet the needs of scholars and all those with an interest in Chinese archaeology and art history. Each issue of China Archaeology and Art Digest was conceived as a monograph treating a specific theme, also including abstracts or full summaries of Chinese articles drawn from nearly 200 specialist Chinese magazines. These summaries are set out in categories that range from Ancient Geography through to Weapons.

Each issue includes news items, bibliographical data, details of new books and a chronology, and is fully indexed.

China Archaeology and Art Digest has a strong subscriber base, roughly half of them from the world's leading universities, museums, archaeological institutes and libraries. A number of academic bibliographies have described the series as an indispensable tool for those working in specialist areas or with an interest in China's archaeology, art and history.
